Who We Are
Myosa® is a well-established and globally recognised appliance range and treatment system by Myofunctional Research Co. (MRC).
Our innovative oral appliances are designed to target the root causes of sleep-disordered breathing, TMJ problems, and teeth grinding. For more than 35 years, MRC Founder and CEO, Dr Chris Farrell has led the development of myofunctional appliances used by children and adults in over 100 countries.
Our Story
Early in his career, Dr Farrell recognised that issues such as crowded teeth, TMJ pain, poor sleep, and mouth breathing were often driven by incorrect muscle and breathing habits—not genetics alone. At a time when most practitioners treated only the symptoms, MRC introduced a new approach: pre-formed appliances designed to correct dysfunctional habits and restore natural function.
This philosophy shaped the development of treatment systems like The Trainer System™, Myobrace®, and Myosa®—each designed to support healthier breathing, better jaw development, and long-term wellness.
