Snoring, restless sleep, teeth grinding, and behavioural issues, are all symptoms associated with Breathing Disordered Sleep (BDS). Although it was originally thought that BDS only affects adults, recent medical studies have shown an alarming occurrence in children.

Children with sleep-related breathing disorders can experience a variety of different symptoms which include, but are not limited to:

  • Restless sleep.
  • Morning fatigue.

  • Behavioural issues and sometimes even ADHD.

Impaired Development

The underlying causes of these issues often relate back to incorrect breathing and oral muscle habits, which can also impact a child’s growth and development. If left untreated, these incorrect habits can exacerbate associated health issues later in life and may lead to other problems such as jaw joint disorders and Obstructive Sleep Apnoea.

It is important to address breathing and sleep issues as soon as they become apparent to help prevent future development problems related to growth. [NOTE: FOLLOWING VIDEO IS A PLACHOLDER ONLY. NEW VIDEO COMING SOON]
